This online (Zoom) course forms the first 5 weeks of a 20 week course on the Old Kingdom of ancient Egypt.
This course is gently-paced and will focus on the grammar, vocabulary and exercises from Chapter 5 of Collier&Manley including Suffix Pronouns, Causatives, Past Forms and Past Relative Forms. Designed as a follow-up from the Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs for False Beginners this course is also open to new students of a similar level. Email John Billman to discuss your level..

John Billman is an experienced Egyptology tutor having taught classes for the continuing education department of Oxford University (OUDCE), the WEA and TVAES. John leads tours to Egypt and excavates in Thebes with the South Asasif Conservation Project. John is Chairman of the Thames Valley Ancient Egypt Society and the South Asasif Conservation Trust.
