Course Description
This online (Zoom) course forms the third 5 weeks of a 20 week course on Hieroglyphics.

This course will focus on the material from Collier & Manley Chapter 6 including grammatical topics such as the causative form of verbs, negation, continuation, general and specific present tenses and dependent pronouns together with review exercises and exercises from C&M and elsewhere reading funerary stelae. It is open to both new and continuing students but new students may wish to discuss their level and needs with the tutor first.

Biography

John BillmanJohn Billman is an experienced Egyptology tutor having taught classes for the continuing education department of Oxford University (OUDCE), the WEA and TVAES. John leads tours to Egypt and excavates in Thebes with the South Asasif Conservation Project. John is Chairman of the Thames Valley Ancient Egypt Society and the South Asasif Conservation Trust.
